Just a very quick post today. I went out to lunch with my friend the other day and got talking about his relationships. Over our starters he proceeded to tell me how he was putting his relationships to one side and instead concentrating on getting a new job. OK, nothing wrong with that, until he said “Once I get a job paying more money I will be able to get more chances with girls.”
Aaarghh, this wound me up! First of all if a woman is only interested in your bank balance, then she’s not worth it and second, he is one of the sweetest guys I know and any decent woman would love him with or without a high paying job. I just couldn’t understand how he couldn’t see that.
By trying to chase a fantasy thinking that if you look a certain way or have certain things results in flocks of women racing to be by your side will ultimately lead you to one place – a great job or whatever your focus is and no special lady by your side unless you are very lucky or looking for a trophy wife.
What is the one thing you can tell yourself to push that dating destruction button?
“I have to do [insert excuse] first and then I’ll go out and meet women!”
For example, “I need to lose weight first and then…” or “I need to make lots of money first and then…” etc.
Thinking that you need to accomplish certain things or have others in place in order for decent women to be attracted to you is not true and nothing but excuses to stop yourself meeting that special lady. The reality is that meeting and keeping the attention of women does not require anything except your enthusiasm to get up, go out and actually meet them.
Have you ever heard the statement “You get whatever you focus on?” By concentrating on the distractions from getting what you want, all you are doing is preventing yourself from actually getting what you want. All you need to do is move your focus away from these distractions and things that you ‘think’ you need first and onto your final goal – to meet women. Now you have changed your thought process something wonderful happens…you give yourself the chance to ACHIEVE your goal to meet women rather than get caught up with unnecessary details.
Laser beamed focus and taking action gets results so get out there and start mingling.
