Watch Where You’re Going

Just a quick post today more so directed towards the guys but ladies you can’t get away with this either.

During are marvellous adventure abroad Sonia and myself would decide to rest ourselves at a local restaurant or bar at the end of the day. We would simply just sit down with our Malibu and cokes and enjoy the view. Of course my view was the beautiful beach and blue sea whereas Sonia’s view was more along the tanned torso section. This however bought me to writing this article today.

Day 1: During our first day Sonia and I decided to do some exploring to see what our complex and the surroundings had to offer. Of course with the blistering heat we managed to walk about ten minutes before giving up and heading into a restaurant. We were sat outside with our nice cold fruit smoothies (and me with my bowl of ice cream) when three guys walked past blatantly staring at us and smirking.

Of course we just passed it off until one of the guys who was too busy staring tripped and dropped all of his change (right in front of us). His friends weren’t too supportive either as they just stood there and laughed at him. Sonia and me on the other hand politely waited until they were out of sight until we had a giggle to ourselves.

Day 2: At the end of stressful day of jumping in the pool and doing endless hard working hours of sunbathing Sonia and I decided to go to a bar just down the road. Instead of sitting inside we thought we would enjoy the warm air at night and sit out in the front seating area where we could see everybody coming and going. Now to enter this bar you had to go under a canopy in which the floor sloped ever so slightly underneath.

The first guy who walked in was too busy looking at me and Sonia that he didn’t realise the floor sloped and ended up tripping and stumbling onto his friend (who wasn’t very pleased). About twenty minutes later a guy was leaving with his girlfriend. This person was too busy looking at all the people seated outside that he didn’t realise the canopy was being held up by poles and SMACK! Yep you guessed it, he walked straight into the pole in front of everybody including his girlfriend who then grabbed hold of him.

Of course you can now see the meaning of this article title. Now I’m not directing this completely towards men as I myself have been guilty of doing this (especially when it comes to walking into poles!). But as simple as it may sound, as soon as you have your eye on that gorgeous little hottie sat at the bar or walking down the street, you need to remember to watch where you’re going. Tripping, falling and especially walking into poles will not do you any favours in looking cool and will definitely give your ego a kick in the behind.
